Workplace culture isn’t built with a slogan on the wall — it’s shaped by what leaders say and do every single day. Good or bad, culture always flows from the top

**How Leaders Influence Culture:**

- **1. Actions Speak Louder Than Words**  
   Employees watch what leaders *do*, not just what they *say*. If a manager preaches teamwork but rewards individual competition, people follow the actions, not the words.

- **Everyday Moments Matter**  
   Culture is shaped in the small, daily moments: how feedback is given, how mistakes are handled, how success is celebrated. Leaders who are consistent in these moments build trust and loyalty.
- **Clear Values, Clear Expectations**  
   Great leaders make values visible. They talk about them often and tie them to real examples — like recognising an employee for showing integrity or teamwork in a tough situation.
- **Handle Problems the Right Way**  
   The real test of leadership is how problems are handled. Leaders who deal with issues quickly, fairly, and respectfully show that the culture isn’t just talk — it’s real.
- **Lead by Example, Always**  
   Culture isn’t a project you finish — it’s a way of operating. Leaders must model the behaviour they want to see, especially when it’s hard or inconvenient.

**Small Actions = Big Impact**

- Utilise all-hands/toolbox talks or other communication methods to recognise high performers
- Encourage input from team members when solution designing
- Model healthy work-life boundaries
